Welcome to the Addison Township Public Library! I am very happy to tell you about our institution and all that it has to offer!

The library is an intrinsic part of the success in any community. It is an institution that should shine as a beacon for the neighborhood it is placed in. The Addison Township Public Library is a center that provides free access to countless resources for all. It contributes to increasing the economy, creating a stronger commonwealth, and supporting the success of future generations. You can save financially when using our helpful tools such as WIFI, fax, and printing. Our many events make us a social hub and our sources on learning can directly assist in children’s literacy. We are a venue open to everyone. We have highly trained staff that provide resources on almost every topic and we have programs for all ages.  A library is more than just books and the possibilities are endless.

This library is constantly evolving to best meet the community’s needs with our strategic planning and engagement. We are starting multiple platform services next year that allow patrons to stream movies, download music, and listen to audiobooks. We are updating our technical services, increasing programming, and working on constructing Addison Township’s first library building.  We are always looking to improve our services so I welcome your input and involvement. We are also open to customizing a program or event. Please contact us to schedule your activity.

Our doors are open six days a week. Our online services are available 24/7 so you can stream the latest blockbuster, get an e-book in an instant, find a trustworthy answer to a question in our premier online resources, or get customized recommendations by giving us a phone call.
